If you wish, you are able to compete against your friends, family and people from all over the world in Campaign mode!
❖ BEST PLAYED WITH HEADPHONES ❖
Some sounds may be difficult to hear in a noisy environment, so Patches is recommended to be played using headphones.
❖ ARCADE MODE ❖
Only have a few minutes or just want a quick distraction? Try the Arcade mode where you can set your own difficulty using the various options available.
ARCADE OPTIONS
- Speed 1-5 (Choose the playback speed from the lowest to highest)
- Steps 4-10 (Choose the number of steps in each sequence)
- 4 or 5 Buttons (Keep it simpler with four buttons or add an extra button for more advanced combinations)
- Answer order normal/reverse (Play back the sequence in order or reverse order)
- Rotate Board on/off (Randomly rotate the game or keep it where it is)
- Timer on/off (Answer before the timer runs out or turn it off to answer in your own time)
1 Replay is awarded every 3 games.
Note: Replays are only kept for the current game. You can change the Arcade options and still retain your replays but exiting to the Menu and playing Arcade mode again will start a new Arcade game.
❖ CAMPAIGN MODE ❖
If you want to gradually increase the difficulty to see just how sharp your mind is, then Campaign mode is for you!
Starting off with just four colored buttons, once you reach level 5 a fifth button will appear.
Campaign mode uses a scoring system where you gain points for correct answers and making it to the next level but lose points for incorrect answers and time-outs.
You get bonus points for answering as quickly as possible, so if you are faster you can still beat that high-score!
Campaign Mode Scoring System:
Up to 25 Bonus Points per sequence based on Time Left
50 Points multiplied by the Level (the higher the level, the more points you get for levelling)
You lose 10 Points for every incorrect answer or time-out.
1 Replay is awarded every 3 levels (or every 9 sequences). Replays can be saved up until used.
Campaign mode has unlimited levels, however as the difficulty increases you will find yourself eventually reaching your own limit… but can you beat it today? How do your family and friends compare?
Each level requires you to answer 3 sequences correctly before advancing to the next. If an answer is incorrect or the timer runs out, you will lose your progress through that level and will need to start that level again.
❖ GAME OPTIONS FOR BOTH ARCADE & CAMPAIGN MODES ❖
- Replay delay 1-3 (Set how long to delay the replay before playback)
- Confirm replays on/off (Confirm using a replay or just do it)
- Sound on/off (Turns the game sounds on or off)
- Sound Set 1-3 (for different button sounds)
- Vibration (For compatible devices only, this will make the device vibrate on incorrect answers and time-outs)
